Quicktime

If you use Apple’s Quicktime, I recommend you upgrade to Quicktime Pro. I just did and the ability to loop sections of a video – at different speeds – is well worth the $30.

Tooble!

Most schools, for better or worse, block YouTube from their network. A great workaround is to download the video you want at home using the software Tooble. Then you can put the video on a flash drive to bring to school. Voila!

Goals for the new school year

Every year my school district has every teacher fill out a goal setting document. At first I though, “Ugh, more paperwork.” But over the years I’ve come to enjoy and even look forward to it. Here are my goals for this school year.

Quick Tip

When designing your bulletin boards, be sure to leave some blank space to post current items such as announcements, flyers, and catalogs that you receive in the mail or want to post.
