Resignation Letters
Here are two letters of resignation that I have submitted.
Dear Dr. Superintendent:
I wish to resign my position as District String Teacher for the City School District. My scholarship and teaching assistantship at the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign has been renewed for the 1999 – 2000 school year. This may lead to further opportunities that will allow me to pursue my doctorate. My education and career are leading me down new and exciting paths, which would be difficult for anyone to pass up.
My two years with the City Schools have been marked by many wonderful moments. It was a time for much personal growth and professional development. I have had the privilege of working in many outstanding schools and being a part of a truly remarkable school district. I am extremely grateful for having this opportunity.
Sincere
Peter J. Tambroni, Jr.
