Technology is a great resource for anyone and everyone. But I have found that educators tend to use it just for the sake of using it! When implementing technology be sure it enhances the situation and saves time.
One poor example – Years ago a colleague was doing a lesson on Bach. He was new to PowerPoint and spent well over an hour trying to get ’1685-1750′ to fly in with the just right effect onto the screen. I felt the perfect piece of technology here would be a chalkboard!!!
