Camino – Fast, clean, simple – it’s my web workhorse. Not as powerful as Firefox but not as cumbersome either.
If you use Apple’s Quicktime, I recommend you upgrade to Quicktime Pro. I just did and the ability to loop sections of a video – at different speeds – is well worth the $30.

The title of this blog is MostlyBass. Back in the late 1990s I was trying to find a good ‘dot com’ name. A friend asked, “What’s your site about?”. I replied, “Well, mostly about the bass.” “There you go!”
So, this post is not necessarily about the bass.

I’m a photographer and use Photoshop elements quite often. But recently it wasn’t filling my needs – I just need quick conversions between graphic formats. Enter “Graphic Converter“ – yep, the program that’s included with my mac for FREE! It handles exponentially more formats than Photoshop and is quick – VERY quick – even on my old PowerBook G4.
