I don't have any problems with the lack of copy/paste with the tools I'm using. That said, I would like copy/paste as a system wide implementation.

Until then, for some work arounds, let me recommend:
Magic Pad
Appigo's Notebook (syncs to the web where you can retrieve via pc)
PhoneView
MobileFiles Pro
AirSharing
EasyEmail

Thanks for visiting MostlyBass!

Do you have any problem doing stuff with the iPhone given that it doesn't have a built in copy and paste tool?

It is a great tool but I do like having separate devices for a few reasons.

-I use multiple devices (tuner, metronome, timer) simultaneously. Can't do this with the iPhone

-Battery life. A tuner / metronome with AAA or AA batteries last much longer than the iPhone.

That being said it is great to have the tools with you at all times - as in the iPhone apps.

I've got to get one of those iPhones - they're just very expensive in the UK at the moment!!

I think the mobile could eventually take the place of all the traditional practice partners (metronome, tuner, recorder, music player).
