To promote improvising with the bow, one jazz standard is offered on the homepage once monthly. The download is for free. For each title there will be one mp3-file with solo bass which plays themes and improvisation as an example, and another mp3-file without the solo bass for self-practising . For those who themselves want to take hand on the pieces the arrangements will be also downloadeble as a midi file for the use in various sequencer-programmes, as well as a sgu-file for Band-in- a-Box. The arrangements will be made for the contrabass in solo tune.
This first month in July we start with two songs: “Gettin´Started” and “A call for all Demons” (as a call for all basses to play arco jazz bass:)
